Sweet & Sassy Cowgirl: A Texas-Inspired 2nd Birthday Party
This spunky little cowgirl’s 2nd birthday party was a perfect reflection of her personality—sweet and sassy, with just the right mix of Texas charm and girly frill. From handcrafted details to thoughtful party décor, every element came together to create an unforgettable cowgirl-themed birthday party filled with pink, ponies, and personality.

Main Dessert Table
The dessert table proudly showcased Nora’s custom two-tier cowgirl birthday cake from Whoo’s Bakery, alongside sweet horse cake ball pops by Angie’s Cake. Bulk snacks were served in rustic apple baskets, paired perfectly with a horse’s favorite treats—fresh apples and carrots—for a playful, on-theme touch.
To tie in the party’s color palette, we used a handmade pink ruffle table covering, finished with a custom fabric garland in soft pinks, browns, and whites (lovingly handmade by Grandma 💕). Anchoring the display was a hand-painted horse canvas, designed to double as artwork for the birthday girl’s room long after the party ended.
Children’s Table
Designing the children’s table is always a favorite, and this one was extra special. Inspired by the pink, brown, and white palette from the printable collection, we styled each place setting with:
Sweet horseshoe cake plates
White snack plates
Pink bandana silverware wraps
Pink cowboy hat sippy cups
Brown placemats for a rustic touch
The centerpieces included her brother’s cowboy boots filled with flowers and a galvanized tub brimming with plush horse party favors. To encourage every guest to “cowboy-up,” each place setting was topped with a pink or brown cowboy hat, found at our local Dollar Tree—proof that big style doesn’t have to mean a big budget.
This cowgirl birthday party was equal parts playful, personal, and picture-perfect—a celebration fit for a little cowgirl with a whole lot of spunk.
